7 DAYS / 6 NIGHTS
Day 1 - Arrival
Arrival at Bari Airport and transfer to the 4 star Masseria (Manor house) in Otranto. This Manor House built in 1878, has been restored to it's original features. Dinner at the Masseria, where we will taste the Salento cuisine.
Day 2 - Cooking lesson and Lecce
In the morning you will participate in your first cooking lesson followed by lunch. Dishes include eggplant Parmiggiano and home made pasta with traditional Pugliese sauces. In the afternoon we will depart forLecce by private car for a half day guided tour. Time at leisure, dinner at a gourmet restaurant in Lecce.
Day 3 - Full day excursion:
 Otranto, Cheese Factory, Santa Maria di Leuca, Wine cellar
Depart for a private guided excursion by minibus to Otranto and Santa Maria di Lueca and enjoy the drive along the Salento Coast. While in Otranto visit the Cathedral that dates back to 1088. Otranto is also the home of the Aragonese Castle, with it's towers, bastions and fortified walls. Visit the cheese factory and winery. The winery is ideally situated, overlooking the sea and groves. Enjoy a demonstration of mozzarella, ricotta and cheese making, followed by a cheese tasting. At the winery participate in degustation followed by a light lunch, sampling local products such as ham, salami, capocollo, local cheeses and "friselle" with tomato. In the afternoon visit Santa Maria di Leuca then enjoy the scenic drive through the Salentino landscape to visit another winery and further degustation. Dinner at the Masseria.
Day 4 - Cooking lesson,
Olive Oil farm, visit the "Frisara Ostuni Street
In the morning partake in the second cooking lesson, where you will prepare Tajeddha, a rice flan with mussles and potatoes, meat balls with tomato sauce and a traditional Pugliese dessert. In the afternoon visit an olive oil farm. Stroll through the olive grove that boast century old olive trees. Visit the oil mill and sample the award winning olive oils and other local produce. Continue to Alliste, and visit "Frisara" where you discover the art of preparing Froselle as well as tasting the traditional pizza.
Day 5 - Ostuni and Alberobello and Pastificio
Depart for a private guided excursion to Ostuni and Alberobello by minibus. Along the way visit a Pastificio (Pasta Factory). Continue to Ostuni, one of the most beautiful cities in Puglia. Also know as the White city, as white is the only colour of the buildings. Proceed to the unique town of Alberobello consisting of 1030 Trulli (conical/mushroom shaped buildings) situated along the hillside. On the return trip to Otranto visit a Masseria winery in Cellino San Marco thatdates back to 19th century. Partake in a wine tour and see a demonstration of the wine making process from the vineyards, to the cellars, up to the packaging point. This will be followed by degustation of Negramaro D.O.C, Salice Salentino D.O.C, Primonero Salento I.G.T. Dinner at the Masseria.
Day 6 - Trani, Baria and Castel del Monte
Depart for a full day excursion to Trani, Bari and Castel Monte. Castel Monte is a 13th century octagonal castle built by Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II. In Bari visit the Basilica of San Nicola, the Romanesque Basilica of San Gregorio, the Cathedral of San Sabino and Bari's Norman-Swabian Castle. In Trani visit the Basilica. The Cathedral is just one of the many buildings lining the port where the fisherman moor their colourful boats. Accommodation in a Relais in the Bari countryside, set among age-old olive trees and orchard groves. Dinner at the Relais.
Day 7 - Departure
Private Transfer to Bari Airport.

6 nights accommoadtion in 4 star Masseria in B&B, 2 cooking lessons and lunch, lunch in the cheese factory, 2 wine tastings, wine demonstrations, guided visits as per program, private transfers and excursions as per program.
