9 Natural Beauties
by Cynthia Nellis from Style goes Strong
So many female celebrities over 40 sport plastic surgery or a reliance on Botox, that it's becoming rare to see a star who actually has wrinkles like most of us real women do. Here are 9 celebrities without obvious plastic surgery, that we'd like to celebrate as natural beauties. Personally, I love the absolute honesty of these women. They are ovbiously comfortable in their own skin.

Annette Bening
One of the most refreshing things about Annette Bening is the fact that she's got a gorgeous face that actually looks like it belongs to a 52-year-old woman. Like most of us, she has plenty of fine lines and wrinkles. She also has a very warm, expressive face, something that's getting rarer and rarer among her contemporaries onscreen. |

C.C.H. Pounder
Another great actress example of a woman comfortable and beautiful in her own skin: 58-year-old C.C.H. Pounder. Here's what the actress told PBS when asked about her lack of plastic surgery:
Yeah, but I think it's because there's a certain place in the world where I am extremely beautiful, and it can be seen where I am a beauty amongst other beauties that have qualities that are considered beautiful, that are not necessarily considered beautiful here. For instance, the size of my eyes in most other countries is considered the windows on the world. |

Jamie Lee Curtis
Jamie Lee Curis, at 52, is a beautiful, natural-looking celebrities. But she did try her hand at the nip/tuck thing, admitting to People in 2004 "I've done it all and it doesn't work." She's since realized that self-acceptance is what really works, as she told the magazine. Who can forget her 2003 More magazine photo where she stood — unretouched — for all women to see what it really looks like to be middle-aged. We love Jamie for that. |

Judi Dench
Seventy-six-year-old Judi Dench has a beautifully lined face and told The Sunday Times this about plastic surgery:
I've considered it, but I'm too old now. Every time I go to America I wonder if there is some process where it could all be sucked out and I could be out of there in time for dinner...but I'm frightened it would all drop off under the anesthetic. |
 |
Julia Ormond
At 45, Julia Ormond seems to be aging naturally and told Redbook:
Believe me, I'm not totally disconnected from the aging process, but I'm enjoying the richness of the work that's finally coming to me now. |
 |
Marisa Tomei
The 46-year-old actress looks amazing for her age, but according to plastic surgeons, it all looks like natural aging |
 |
Meryl Streep
It may be fear of bad plastic surgery that's keeping 61-year-old Meryl Streep from going under the knife. She told Entertainment Weekly: "If you've ever even contemplated that stuff and looked at what can go wrong in any of those magazines, it's terrifying! |
 |
Patricia Wettig
Patricia Wettig, at 59, looks amazing, but told People she feels conflicted about plastic surgery:
If everybody is having surgery and you haven't, you look old. So I get all conflicted—if someone is 60 and she hasn't had any work and she's standing next to someone who's 60 who's had a lot of work, it's like, "Wow, she looks old." And you go, "No, actually she looks 60." I don't like the pressure of that and I don't know what to do about it. I'm not saying I don't participate in this, I do. |

Sigourney Weaver
Sixty-year-old Sigourney Weaver told People that plastic surgery wasn't for her. Instead, she said: "My face is my canvas. And I think it's much more interesting now than it ever was." |
