We can teach you how, The Born to Bead studio offers quality tutoring for workshops on making glass beads from molten glass, fusing glass elements to create pendants, coasters, and side plates and more...

Students have become wearable glass hobbyists and some have given up the dreary 9 – 5 to become full time wearable glass artists. The studio offers you tuition, support, glass and equipment to take you where you want to go.

The Born to Bead studio is equipped with 6 torches and two kilns. This ensures small workshops with dedicated tutoring. We use certified tutors in glass, jewellery design and ArtClay silver. This ensures you have access to
professional and focussed tutoring. The studio offers a relaxed fully equipped environment for you to find the inner glass artist you never knew existed.

The studio's resident tutor is award winning glass artist Lisa-Jane Harvey, who has won the national glass bead competition in New Zealand in 2008 and 2009.
Lisa-Jane is also the president of the NZGBA and contributing member of the ISGB.
