This month I want to take a moment to talk about eyebrows.  One of the first things we notice as women going through and post menopause it that our hair growth lessens.  For the fortunate amongst us, this does not include head hair but mainly body hair which includes eyebrows.  For me the very best thing I have stumbled across, or should I say the best person, is Alex Proctor of the Permanent makeup studio.  I can't begin to tell you the difference in having your eyebrows properly shaped and permanently coloured so no eyebrow pencils are ever needed again.

As children of the 60's and 70's we plucked our eyebrows within an inch of their lives and have lived to regret it ever since.  Now, though help is at hand.  And what a difference Alex can make.  Especially to xmas holidays which for me are traditionally makeup free at the beach, my eyebrows are always perfect.  Maybe just a bit of mascara and lipstick for an event at the beach is all that is ever needed.

Check out her website and the testimonials that have flowed in over the year.  Lots of celebs have their eyebrows done so they are never caught out with a naked face doing the shopping.  But truly, the result takes years off your age and lasts at least 18 months with a bit of car.  ie. no retinol product on them at night, steer clear of moisturising them and when you go to have them done stay clear of resveritrol for a week.  Otherwise you will bleed like a stuck pig as I did before Alex wised me up.
