Mid-life Career and Lifestyle Changes
Over the past few years as baby boomers near what used to be called retirement, there has been a lot of soul-searching on where to from here. Many women dissatisfied with the status quo and armed with the knowledge that they are likely to live at least until 90, have either read or written books on what to do with the last and very likely most productive third of their lives.
Wisanow website came into existence for just that reason as Geraldine and I moved closer to living what worked for us that was in line with our particular values. Our favorite book continues to be 'Inventing the Rest of Our Lives', by Suzanne Braun Levine, who poses the questions - what matters, what works and what's next. And, it was interesting to read recommendations from other people as to which books could work in a recent article in the NZ Herald quoted below.
