wendy.jpgWendy explains her blog http://foiblesandflaws.wordpress.com/when-three-makes-company/: "It's  about marriage, compromises, life in general and my many flaws and foibles. There are only two tragedies in life: one is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it." ~~Oscar Wilde quote~~

Wendy says:
"I'm a graduate from McGill University with a BA and a Diploma in Human Relations and Family Life Education. Upon graduation from McGill, I decided to take on an administrative/clerical position until I further figured out what I wanted to be when I grow up, consequently, 20 years went by and I still haven't figured it out. I remain at the University to this day working in the Centre for Continuing Education. I'm married to a wonderful man who puts up with my neurotic habits and my mother who he has nicknamed Mr. Magoo, (the cartoon character if you google it, you will have my mom) Upon my dad's passing in 2000 her health has gradually declined. I worry about her constantly and hence got inspired to let out my frustrations into a blog where I write about being middle aged (ok, a little passed that, still in denial 48). I called it Foible Gal because I love the word "foibles" and believe we all have them and need to embrace what makes us quirky and tick. I have no children by CHOICE another element that I think makes me unusual. "

Wendy is writing as she says, "About this time in my life balancing being a good daughter at 48 to my 88 year old mother and a supportive wife to my husband. At times I just want to runaway from everyone!"

Read Wendy's light- hearted accounts of her everyday life managing the situation described above.

We are not sure how she copes but we are sure there are messages in the articles for other women in this situation.

Read Wendy's Blog posts and articles about Wendy's choices as one of the 'sandwich' generation.
