Common Dreams - What they are telling you

Common Dreams

By Delwyn Armstrong of Oracles Inc

Dreams say what they mean but they don’t say it in daytime language – Gail Godwin

Oracles dreamsPeople often come up to us during a business expo or after a business presentation seeking help with a dream that appears to them very wacky. When they have provided the details of their dream to us it is normal for their dream to slot into what we call, “Common dreams.”

These common dreams or similar themed dreams can be reoccurring as well. Let’s take a look at five common dreams.

Everyone’s favourite dream is flying. One of our sons has a lot of flying dreams and it can be normal for him when he feels stuck or hindered with making progress in life that he will have this type of dream. Flying dreams can reveal that you are a person that overcomes situations, has the ability to rise above problems, and sees from a different perspective. Also creative, artistic, people experience dreams where they are flying. These can be insightful into your personality. Flying dreams are such fun.

During the week a girlfriend contacted me. She had recently had 3 reoccurring dreams. In each dream she was naked. Not the most fun type of dream to have unlike the flying dreams but still very helpful dreams to have. Naked dreams can be revealing to you that you are feeling vulnerable at the moment or could be confirming that you are a transparent, open, person. In my girlfriends case she had been asked to move into a new leadership role and she was feeling overwhelmed by the opportunity.

Recently a business person came to me to receive help with his dreams. One of his dreams was reoccurring and he was being chased. Being chased in a dream can be scary plus exhausting! In his case his destiny was chasing him, cheering him on and making sure he didn’t give up due to his circumstances being tough. Chasing dreams can also be giving us the message that something is hindering our progress. The dream can be encouraging us to turn and face an issue in our life that is preventing us and scaring us from moving forward. Even though it may not feel like it, this is a hugely positive dream to have. You are having this dream because you have unique abilities and it’s important not to give up. Turn and face the issues that are preventing you from moving forward.

Teeth falling out dreams are very common. Ask the question, what is going on in your life, why would you be having this dream now? You possibly need to process things a bit longer, take your time to chew on things before you make a decision. The dream can be making you aware that you need to seek help in getting more understanding, more wisdom.

I was at a business luncheon and when I explained that I was a dream interpreter a lady was keen to share a dream. In her dream she had organised for her business to have a stall at an expo. But on the day of the expo everything turned into chaos for her. She had lost some important files, couldn’t find some important phone numbers and items were forgotten for the stall and she was running late. Frustrating, irritating dream to have but there are useful clues and signposts in this type of dream. Being late, lost dreams are giving you a, “ heads-up,” that you are missing an opportunity so don’t delay or put off

What you are planning to do. Could be a new project, business, invention, to write a book or move houses. For the lady that asked for the her dream interpreted it was a new part of her business that she wanted to develop and she had been continually putting it on hold. The dream was saying to her that it was the right timing for her to progress with her idea.

You will always know when you have received the right interpretation for your dream. The meaning will gel with you and make sense.

Look out for these types of common dreams, although they may appear wacky and nonsense they are hugely positive and helpful.

They started taking note of their dreams 16 years ago and this started them on a quest to find the meanings of their Dreams. Through their own study and investigation they quickly recognised that there are hidden messages waiting to be interpreted in Dreams and that it’s not all about eating too much pizza, cheese or chocolate! It wasn’t long before family and friends were asking for help with their Dreams. Now years later after interpreting many Dreams in various settings they have enjoyed watching the positive effect one Dream interpreted can have.
