mink is a leading makeover and photography studio based in Takapuna and owned by Lester de Vere and Sarah Breslin. We provide a unique and personal approach to your makeover photo experience that celebrates not only you, but also whats important in your world.

Other than that... we take photos… and we reckon really good ones! We have a seriously creative team who love what they do, and this shows in the final results.

At the complimentary planning session, we love finding out what/who you love; this is the fun part where we help “build a picture” of what can be done. If you happen to mention that you dance in your spare time, excellent, gives us a theme to include, or if your pooch is particularly insistent on being there... great! Better still sharing the experience with your family is without doubt something you will all appreciate, especially in the long term.

Meeting new people and new personalities is actually very rewarding. We certainly realise that we’re creating something that has been a collaborative effort. If you are looking for a special photographer, for a special photo, look no further than Mink Photography.  The girls there are very professional and friendly, so much so you can be yourself, hence some of the pics I had taken.  Girls don’t feel inhibited by your age and extra lumps and bumps just go and get the photo taken that you have always wanted.  I did and it didn’t matter that I had all of the above plus I am a paraplegic, because the girls are experienced enough to enhance or hide our negatives and who hasn’t those when we are knocking on 60.
